August 25 - PaySafeCard, one of the major payment methods in the financial
services arena, has been incorporated onto the William Hill gaming sites
as an additional banking method to this group's customers.
A deal signed between William Hill and PaySafeCard means that players who are
registered at any of this gambling group's sites, including its sports betting
products, can pay using PaySafeCard.
"We are delighted to have WilliamHill.com as a partner," said David Hunter,
the Chief Executive Producer for PaySafeCard. "The cooperation is an important
step for expansion in the UK and throughout Europe."
William Hill announced that it was moving its online operations from the
United Kingdom to Gibraltar very recently, after it found that the tax system in
the UK was making it unviable for the group to use the country as a base.
The group's decision led other companies such as Ladbrokes to also make the
move to Gibraltar.
PaySafeCard offers its services in the United Kingdom and another 22 European
countries. In addition, the company operates in South America, such as Mexico
and Argentina.
The system uses through a voucher method, which players can purchase at over
230,000 outlets across the globe. Vouchers with a value of as little as 10 GBP
can be purchased, and when players want to redeem them, they simply enter the
voucher's PIN number at the cashier section of the online casino and the funds
are automatically transferred into their online casino accounts.
