|   | | September 1 - World renowned business school, The Wharton School of Business,
has announced that early next year it will launch the first Wharton Program for
Gaming Executives at its campus in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Starting on February 18th 2007, the five-day gaming seminars will be open to non-Wharton students and will focus on the gaming industry as a whole, including gaming operations, marketing and financing, as well as the importance of strong leadership within the industry.
It is expected that members of the Wharton faculty will lead the gaming
seminars, with Cory Morowitz, a past Wharton alumn and head of Morowitz Gaming Advisors, appointed as the gaming seminar industry director.
The Wharton School of Business was founded in 1881 as the planet's first
collegiate business school, and boasts a 'who's who' alumni including Donald
Trump and Warren Buffet, two of the most influential businessmen in
recent decades.
According to the highly respected Financial Times newspaper, Wharton's MBA
program ranks consistently as the best program in the world, which bears great testament to the future of the gaming seminars.
