|   | | January 24 - Billionaire mogul, Richard Branson, announced last week that he intends to include gambling facilities on his fleet of new Virgin Atlantic Airbus A380's when he takes delivery of the new state-of-the-art aircraft in 2008.
He made the statement after the 555-seat mega-jumbo was launched to the world media and European dignitaries at a sparkling ceremony held in France last week, attended by over 5000 guests.
Its no secret that Branson has always put the comfort of passengers first on his airline, so it is not surprising that he plans to equip Virgin Atlantic's planes with
casino facilities in the form of blackjack and roulette tables. Who knows, he
may in fact even introduce online casino facilities for all passengers to enjoy.
Once the well-to-do passengers have had fun gambling, they will be able to shed some calories by working out at the on-board gym or take a well-earned snooze in one of the private double bed suites, all the while waited on by the friendliest flight attendants in the sky.
Said Branson, 'With double beds and on-board casinos, our passengers now have two ways of getting lucky on a Virgin plane'.
