February 2 - The leading sports betting group, Sportingbet, has
revealed plans to unveil a new Live Casino Games section at its site, allowing
players to enjoy an even greater choice of entertainment.
The games, which will be provided by Evolution Gaming, will see Sportingbet
customers enjoy live baccarat, roulette and blackjack at the group's online
casino.
Live gaming essentially involves advanced webcam technology whereby images of
live dealers are beamed to the player's PC. Players can then enjoy the best of
both worlds - the convenience of online gambling and the personal touch of live
dealers and casinos.
"The move towards live dealer gaming has steadily gathered pace over the past
two years as gambling operators has accepted its potential to help attract new
players, re-activate existing ones and compared with traditional RNG, increase
player lifetime," said the Sales and Marketing Manager at Evolution Gaming.

Sportingbet's Head of Casino and Games, Dominic Bourke also commented on the
