June 12 - A press release by the industry leading mobile games provider,
Spin3, has stated that the company has terminated its business relationship
with PacificNet, one of the largest gaming providers to the Asian market.
No other details were released over the reason for the termination. According
to the press release, the termination is effective immediately.
The Microgaming-powered Spin3 entered into a strategic alliance with
PacificNet earlier this year in a bid to gain a stronger foothold into the
growing Asian games industry. The company said that it would continue to build
its presence in the Asian region.
Spin3, considered one of the industry's leading full service mobile gaming
solutions companies, has partnered with Microgaming to provide turnkey solutions
in the mobile gaming industry. The company's strategic alliance with PacificNet
was meant to develop new markets for Spin3's innovative products.
Spin3 said in the press release that it is continuing to monitor the Asian
market very closely in its search for potential business prospects and
opportunities in the region.
Last month, Spin3 released its new Scratch n Score mobile game to coincide
with the European summer soccer action. The fourteenth release in Spin3's mobile
game portfolio, Scratch n Score allows players to select their wager over their
mobile phone, and press the show button to reveal the hidden images. Players win
if they manage to match three of the same symbols.
PacificNet (PACT), which employs about 500 people worldwide,?
focuses its business on the Asian, Latin American and European markets. The
company's products are localized in their specific markets and it has managed to
attract a large clientele, including hotels, casinos and gambling operators from
all over the world, including Macau.
