November 1 - Get set for the smell of racing fuel and burning rubber as the
second annual Going Full Throttle Poker Challenge prepares to drop clutch on
Thursday November 9th this year at Fort McDowell Casino in Scottsdale, Arizona.
This is an event 'constructed' for poker and racing fans alike, and is a
fantastic opportunity for die-hard NASCAR racing fans to pit their poker skills
against some of the country's best NASCAR drivers all in the name of charity.
As a collaboration between top racing team, Braun Racing, and Fort McDowell
Casino, the star-studded Texas Hold'em tournament will offer a guaranteed prize
pool of $30 000.
NASCAR drivers are expected to include Ron Hornaday Jr and Jason Leffler, as
well as Busch Series team owner, Todd Braun.
The proceeds generated by the Going Full Throttle Poker Challenge will go to the
Victory Junction Gang, a facility that provides year-round camping sessions for 7
to 15 year-old kids with life-threatening and chronic illnesses.
