| | | July 27 - It seems that the power of celebrity has reached a new level of
madness with the news that leading online casino, Golden Palace Casino, has
snapped up a piece of Paris Hilton's used dental floss for an impressive $1000.
That's hot.
The floss, tinged with what appears to be Hilton's trademark pink lipstick, was
'rescued' from her trash outside of her Beverly Hills, California home by either
a bum, an unemployed actor or a previous guest on the Jerry Springer Show.
It was then put up for auction by a Hollywood-focused website where the online
auction-experienced representatives of Golden Palace Casino snatched up the used
piece of bacterial laden oral hygiene quicker than you could say halitosis.
Golden Palace Casino is no stranger to online auctions as it has built up an
impressive collection of strange and bizarre odds and ends, knick knacks,
mementoes, keepsakes, celebrity junk, bric-a-brac, weird items, and other
interesting doohickies.
These include a kidney stone once belonging to Star Trek's William Shatner, the
Pope's old set of wheels (VW Golf), one Britney Spears' half eaten sandwich, one
Britney Spears home pregnancy kit (used) and reportedly George W Bush's brain (removed at birth).
Golden Palace Casino is also reportedly interested in acquiring some of actor
John Travolta's trash and no, we are not talking about the movies he made in the
80s, but a 'fork' and 12 empty packets once home to 'expensive' beef rescued
from his garbage.
Could it have been Kobe Beef John, could it, or perhaps beef jerky from Wal-Mart?
