January 21 - One online gambling operator is taking the catchy phrase 'it
pays to play' one step further by offering its regular players an actual stake
in its business.
Tell Gaming, the Scandinavian based online casino and poker operators,
announced that it intends rewarding regular players with a 5% stake in the
company.
By playing Tell Gaming's range of
online poker and casino games, players are
rewarded with ownership units.
In time, these units are transformed into any profits distributed by the
company.
Players who hold a 20% stake in Tell Gaming have already shared dividends
recently distributed from a total of €30K.
Tell Gaming promised that players will also see profit distribution even if
Tell Gaming decides to merge with another company in the future.
The Marketing Manager for Tell Gaming, Thomas Jonsen had this to say about
the promotion: "We're grateful to our players and rewarding them with a stake in
our company is something we are very passionate about and we hope to pay an even
higher divided to our players within the next twelve months as Tell Gaming
continues its expansion."
Jonsen also explained about the unique live poker academies run by Tell
Gaming and claimed that the site is the only gaming operator offering such
services to its players.
"During these unique academies, players are given the opportunity to quiz
their mentor, Andreas Hurtig, a poker pro and math genius, on the game's finer
points while following a cash or tournament game in real time," he said.
Tell Gaming was founded in 2006 and its poker brand works off the Microgaming
poker network.
