It's no secret that one of every hundred base jumps ends in death, so the two

Not only did they survive the jump and free-fall, but also landing in the jungle
at the base of falls, the natural habitat of the Bush Master, one of the world's
deadliest snakes.
One of the jumpers reportedly missed the cliff wall by a mere 5 feet while
hurtling straight down at over 120 mph!
 Only four people have ever been recorded jumping off Angel Falls, including the Golden Palace Casino jumpers.
Unfortunately, the two jumpers who previously attempted this impressive feat were not so lucky and were both killed.
