|   | | May 12 - Respected online casino software vendor, Cryptologic, has announced
that it will launch an online casino licensed to the publisher of well known
men's magazine, Playboy.
Cryptologic has entered into a three year contract with the publishers of
Playboy, whereby it will operate the online casino, provide a safe and secure
payment infrastructure and handle all customer service queries.
Unfortunately due to the status of online gambling in the United States, the
Playboy casino will only be available to non-US residents.
Said Cryptologic CEO, Lewis Rose, 'We have been able to capitalize on growth
markets by delivering customized products, according to geographic region, which
has become a large focus area of ours.'
Cryptologic announced that its first quarter profits were up 58% to $7.7
million, compared with the same period last year.
'Our results are the fruits of a very disciplined strategy and our ongoing
commitment to add value to our shareholders,' added Rose.
