|   | | February 8 - In a move that will ensure that online gambling makes its mark in the media, Guinness Book Of World Records tattoo and piercing record holder, Brian Moffatt, has successfully auctioned off his forehead to Internet Casino GoldenPalace.com who will tattoo their brand on his head for the world to see.
Known as the 'The Human Pincushion', Moffatt will soon be accused of having 'gambling on the brain'
- for the rest of his life. No stranger to controversy or worldwide media attention, Moffatt is one of the first human beings to have auctioned off a body part for the use of commercial advertising.
On his ebay auction page, Moffatt's promise that he would actively promote the tattoo through media interest generated by his well-known reputation and public persona appealed to top online casino, Golden Palace, who also has a reputation of being a big media and publicity seeker.
Said GoldenPalace.com CEO Richard Rowe, 'As one of the Internet's leading online casinos, we are always on the look out for hip and new ways to promote our brand and we thought that the use of tattoo on a high profile figure matched
our marketing philosophy perfectly. It is a fun and new concept and will make people laugh.'
The casino did not disclose what they paid for the 'canvas' or when the tattoo will be applied but they said that they were very excited about the prospect of having a walking billboard helping to punt their online brand for the foreseeable future.
