Online Casino Advertising in Spotlight Under Canadian Law

operate online lotteries and games of chance, the Canadian government is facing
pressure to completely ban online casino and gambling TV commercials.
This pressure is in line with Canada's current policies regarding land and
online casino gambling legislation, amidst ongoing debates between the online
gambling industry and the government regarding the lawful status of online
casinos and gambling advertising.
Currently in Canada, many online casinos are exploiting a 'loophole' in the
system by flighting advertisements on Canadian TV promoting 'free' online
gambling features.
How long this will continue to be allowed is very much a 'gray area'.
