European I-Gaming Congress & Expo (EIG) held in the French seaside town of Nice
recently, was a resounding success.
This event, the 4th Annual EIG conference, attracted over 800 online casino and
Internet gambling delegates from all over the globe, almost a 100% increase on
the attendance of last year's EIG.
Based on the interest generated, the EIG has proved itself to be the biggest and
most important European-focused I-gaming and online casino event and networking
opportunity of the year.
The conference boasted a variety of leading online gambling industry speakers,
including Simon Holiday, a member of top firm, Global Betting and Gaming
Consultants. He gave a detailed account of the current online casino business
model, using the latest statistics and gambling industry information.
Other topics of interest included the current locations of the world's main
online gambling centers, the future of the online gambling industry as a whole
and many
more.
Interestingly, it was disclosed that North America still leads the way in terms
of number of online gamblers, followed closely by Europe, Asia and then the Middle East.
