|   | | February 1 - New gaming and e-commerce software kid on the block, Full House
Entertainment, today launched the beta version of its new multiplayer online
poker system, Full House Poker V1.3.
The new online gambling software boasts an advanced multiplayer gaming engine,
G-Comm V 1.7, that took 2 years to develop, which is designed to radically increase
network reliability and permit player-adaptable games across Windows, Linux and Mac
platforms.
Full House Entertainment operations director, Jean-Guy Leconte, explained how the
new poker software was a welcome addition to the company's existing range of gambling
products. He said that Full House recognised the opportunity to release online poker
software, due to the growing number of poker players online.
The software includes traditional poker games like Texas Hold'em, 5-Card Stud, 7-Card
Stud and Omaha High/Low, and allows players to add alternative poker games and variants
at will. It also offers a variety of poker tournaments aimed at all player skill levels.
To offer online players a safer and more secure gaming environment, game security will be
handled by Full House's Poker Room Management System Pit boss anti-collusion engine, which
will be operated independent to the gaming engine and database server. It will also be
responsible for the analyses of all gaming data to help with anti-collusion detection.
