|   | | May 22 - The lottery giant, Intralot, has given its nod of approval to a brand new lottery pooling system that promises to change the face of jackpots as we know it.
The new product, known as PoolingPlus, was developed by Relationship Marketing Systems, an Arizona based company, and will greatly increase the player's chances of winning a portion of the lottery.
The product essentially brings players the opportunity to buy ten lottery tickets for the price of $1. Statistically, this means that players spread their chances of winning across more tickets, giving them ten times more chance of winning 10% of a lottery jackpot.
The President of Relationship Marketing Systems, Andy Amada, said: "The benefits to players is enormous. Not only will players have ten times as many chances to hit the jackpot, they will also win ten times more often, and can even win more than once on the same ticket, all for only one buck."
"In addition, ten new millionaires will be created every time one of the pooling tickets hits the jackpot," said Amada. "And in this economy, it's the perfect time for state lotteries to give their players more value for their dollar and a better shot at winning."
The company has taken out a patent for the PoolingPLUS product and has shown it to top lottery giants such as Intralot who were visibly impressed by the idea.
The Vice President for Marketing at Intralot USA, John Pittman said: "We have been studying this pooling concept for quite some time and are very impressed with what we see."
"Research as well as experience has shown us that players, as well as potential players, would welcome the opportunity to be involved in pools in order to have more chances to win," added Pittman. "PoolingPLUS is right on target."
