June 26 - The industry leading software company, Chartwell Technology,
with its base in Vancouver, Canada has announced that it has been awarded
operating licenses from the tough United Kingdom Gambling Commission. The
licenses essentially cover remote and non-remote areas of the market and are
expected to provide Chartwell Technology with an excellent leg into the growing
UK gambling market.

To obtain the remote and non-remote licenses, Chartwell Technology
Incorporated had to put his software to rigorous testing through the UK Gambling
Commission's Certification Process. The Gambling Commission's standards are
considered equal to and even greater than the toughest authorization standards
in the world.
The Commission's certification covers corporate and software areas to ensure
maximum functionality in responsible gaming, security and reporting.
All Chartwell Technology's senior executives have also been granted personal
management licenses under the UK Gambling Act of 2005, it was announced.
Essentially, the new operating licenses allow Chartwell Technology
Incorporated to manufacture, supply, install or adapt all gambling software.
Chartwell Technology was established in 1998 and employs over 120 people in
Canada, the United Kingdom, Malta and Singapore. The company trades publicly on
