April 1 - No other television program manages to bring up the ratings like
American Idol does. Into its seventh season, this song contest is viewed by
millions of people around the world on a weekly basis, with ratings rising as
the elimination gets tighter.
With the exit of popular soul singer, Chickezy from the competition last
week, Season 7 is down to only nine extremely talented and aspiring singers and
American Idol gambling is heating up at online casinos across the globe.
This year's season is undoubtedly better and grander than previous years. One
of the main reasons for this is that for the first time ever, contestants have
been allowed to bring their own musical instruments onstage and connect with the
crowd in this way. This has obviously given some singers a major advantage
others. Brooke White's haunting performance on the piano with her rendition of
the Beatles' "Let it Be" is proof of this.
As a result of the better talent overall, American Idol gambling fans are
finding it difficult to decide who will take this year's title. It would come as
no surprise if any one of the nine - four men and five women - would grab the
American Idol.
However, there can only be ONE winner and online casinos can already report
that the action is on for American Idol gambling. From the beginning of the
competition, 17 year old David Archuleta, with his big voice and equally big
smile, has wowed the fans and he is still a favorite among punters.
Nevertheless, his victory is not guaranteed yet - while he was a runaway
favorite several weeks ago, his odds have dropped to +100.
A singer fast approaching Archuleta thanks to his amazing performances in the
past few weeks is David Cook who blew the judges away last week. Even Simon
Cowell, the usually kick-'em-while-they're-down judge had good things to say to
Cook. His odds are presently +200.
