|   | | January 17 - While successful online gambling operation, 888, is going to use
2008 to increase it market share in Europe and South America, it also has big
plans for exploiting large growth opportunities in Asia, according to 888 chief
executive, Gigi Levy.
Speaking at the announcement of a lucrative deal with Macau-based online
gambling solutions and marketing firm Entertasia (to provide 888 with
cutting-edge live dealer casino technology), Levy explained that live dealer
facilities are a must for the Asian market.
'With the importance of live dealer online gambling in Asia, we felt that
Entertasia was the right company to partner with. With regards to our strategy
in Asia, we will concentrate on what we do best which is marketing of our
services as well as the acquisition
and retention of players, ' said Levy.
'This means that Entertasia is free to concentrate on managing and operating the
best possible live dealer product for us. While we are no strangers to the Asian
market, we took notice of many of our Asian players that have been asking us for
live dealer facilities. Now we can provide them.'
888 owns and operates
Pacific Poker and
Casino-on-Net, two of the most reputable
online gambling sites within the industry.
