May 13 - 888 Holdings shares were trading slightly
higher than usual on the London Stock Exchange following an announcement that
the company had entered into a partnership agreement with Gaming Technology
Solutions (GTS).
GTS, which provides cross channel gaming solutions for internet gaming
operations, will develop a joint expanded application program interface with 888
Holdings. This API, developed around 888's Integrated Platform and GTS's EdGE
platform, for which it holds a patent, will allow the quick delivery of a
multitude of games and products to a wide customer base.
Speaking for GTS, Steven Matsell said: "We are delighted that 888 have chosen
GTS as their games integration partner and have selected the EdGE Platform and
API as the most flexible solution to deliver the best games from world class
developers. We are looking forward to working with one of the world's most
popular online gaming gaming entertainment companies, providing them with the
flexibility they need to deliver content across all their channels."
In response, the CEO of 888 Holdings, Gigi Levy said: "This is another key
development in opening up our platform to easy integration of games from other
providers in diverse geographical markets. We believe that with GTS we have
created the most comprehensive and integrated API in the online gaming industry,
enabling us to be the first to offer new and exciting games to our fast growing
community of players across the globe."
This is the latest partnership deal signed by 888 Holdings with other leading
companies in the online gambling world. A few days ago, it was announced that
888 had signed a lucrative three year deal with software provider, Cryptologic,
allowing its players to access top industry games such as Bejeweled, Cubis and
Millionaires Club.
