May 10 - 32Red.com, the online gaming operator, has announced that it
has extended its sponsorship deal with Swansea City soccer club.
This is an extension of an existing deal that 32Red has with the Championship
soccer club, with the original deal signed in 2009.
The first deal was the biggest sponsorship agreement signed in the Welsh
team's 97 year history, and the extension will be for a further three seasons.
The deal will also see the team continue to share revenues that are drawn
from 32Red's betting, casino and poker services.
The 32Red.com logo will appear on Swansea City's home and away shirts.
Swansea City Praises Sponsorship Deal
The Vice Chairman for Swansea City, Leigh Dineed, said that the extension of
the deal demonstrates how far Swansea City has come as a football club.
"To secure such a prestigious sponsor for another three years in such a
difficult financial climate speaks volumes," said Dineed. "We've had a fantastic
working relationship with 32Red over the last two years, which has only
benefited both parties. The Swans have made great strides on and off the pitch
while 32Red continues to lead its field in the online casino and gaming market."
Dineed said that 32Red is a modern company with a global reach and praised
its proactive ideas. He said that 32 Red will continue to help spread Swansea
City's message to the international stage.
"We are delighted it has chosen to continue its partnership with us," said
Dineed. "We make a great team and we are all looking forward to driving both
businesses forward over the next three years."
32Red.com Thrilled to Extend Commitment
The CEO of 32Red, Ed Ware, said that his group was thrilled to extend its
commitment to Swansea City.
"The high quality of the football played by the Swans sits well with our
second to none approach to providing an outstanding service to our players and
the friendliness and professionalism at the club also complements our own
approach to our loyal players," he said.
